Phil Davidson mines his comedy from the absurdities of everyday life, pointing out society’s shortcomings as well as his own. A former reporter and political hack, Phil decided to go with a slightly less punishing vocation and started doing comedy at a Vietnamese coffee shop in Burlington, Vt. He quickly rose through the ranks of the cutthroat Vermont comedy scene and won the 2013 Funniest Comic in Vermont Contest. Since then he’s been selected to perform in numerous comedy festivals and opened for a slew of headliners, including Todd Barry and Hannibal Buress, in bars, theaters and clubs in Chicago, NYC, LA and throughout the country. He's written for adultswim.com, Playboy's The Smoking Jacket, and other publications. His wife is a TV news anchor and he follows her around from town to town because he's kind of like her Stedman.
